1975
Silhouettes, fat-free yogurt launched in Canada
1980
• Cottage cheese becomes available under the Silhouettes brand.
• Silhouettes yogurts are now low in calories.
1993
Delisle joins the Danone Group and expands business into Western Canada, where its products are sold for the first time.
2001
Supermodel Cindy Crawford becomes the new spokesperson of the Silhouettesbrand.
2002
Popular Quebec actress Sophie Lorain stars in a new ad campaign designed to debunk the myths surrounding beauty and bodyweight.
2004
A busy year of delicious innovation. Silhouettes Mousse, Silhouettes Delicioso and Silhouettes Smoothie are launched to a market of delighted fat-free enthusiasts.
2006
The “Fruits in, Sugar out” initiative began where we removed all added sugar but threw in 25% more fruit to the original recipe for an even more delicious and nutritious taste.
2008
• Silhouettes 0% becomes Silhouettes 0+.
• Actress Julie Perreault becomes the face of the brand for Quebec.
• Breakfast Television host Dina Pugliese becomes the face of the brand for English Canada.
2009
Silhouettes 0+ launched some Limited Edition flavours including: Raspberry Dragon fruit, Strawberry Lychee and Passion Fruit Acai berry.
2011
Silhouettes 0+ launched some Limited Edition flavours including: Vanilla & Marula and Vanilla & Cinnamon.
2012
Silhouettes is kicking off the new year with a brand-new look. Plus, four new dessert flavours are now available: Cappuccino, Caramel, Lemon Cake and Coconut Cream.
